Gift Shops and Boutiques

Traditional skills and hand-made crafts along the Lower North Shore are part of the unique heritage of the region. People on the Coast are resourceful, creative and exceptionally gifted when it comes to creating by hand. Local craftspeople make hooked mats, wooden boats, quilted goods and deer skin slippers, and many other high quality items.

Throughout the Lower North Shore, there are various locations where you can find handicrafts and souvenirs of your visit to the region. You can also find locally produced jams and jellies made from the region’s delicious wildberries.

Be sure to visit a craft store while you are here to pick up a souvenir that will remind you of your adventure!
